Elizabeth R. Smith lives in the city but prefers being in the mountains and on the water. She keeps her eyes open for intriguing plants, animals and rocks wherever she goes, rarely heading out on walks around the neighborhood without a camera. Her artwork reflects this love of the natural world.
Elizabeth is an artist from the Seattle area. She completed her bachelor's degree at Western Washington University where she studied fine art and illustration. She completed her certification in Natural Science Illustration through the University of Washington in June 2013, and continues to study traditional technique at the Gage Academy of Art in Seattle.
