Description

"Winter Song Sparrow" is an original watercolor painting, approximately 10.5" x 7.5".

I met this sparrow on a nature trail near Lake Washington in November. The low winter sun cast dramatic shadows on the little bird as it hopped through tall grass and gathered seeds. I was able to stand and watch the sparrow for a few minutes. I love moments like that, when I get to watch a bit of nature going about its business. It was chilly but utterly peaceful.
